Double Up Food Bucks Program Site Coordinator
Bryan is the current Double Up Food Bucks Site Coordinator. Coming from a small farm-town in Western New York, he has always been fascinated by the economy surrounding the area’s agricultural businesses. Growing up, access to locally grown produce was always as simple as walking to the nearest farm stand down the road from his parents’ home. Working for Field & Fork Network, he hopes to contribute to creating a sustainable and equitable food economy for New York State, expanding all access to locally grown produce. Bryan holds a master’s degree in public administration from Appalachian State University, as well as experiences working as a farmers market manager, horticulture inspector, and (his personal favorite) a zip line tour guide.
Away from work, after living in the mountains of North Carolina for seven years, Bryan is an avid outdoorsman. During his time off you can often find him hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming, or roller skating. If you catch him on a lazy day, he will be curled up on the couch with his cat, Hooch.
