Lisa first began her foray into the world of food back in 2007 when she secured the rights to publish Edible Buffalo magazine. During the 6 years that followed, Lisa immersed herself into the world of local food – through the magazine – communicating many untold stories of local growers, food artisans, chefs and local food advocates. Lisa credits this work with providing her a solid background and understanding of our region’s agricultural assets and what she deems endless possibilities for our local food system to thrive.
